2026 Jewelry Wishlist

The start of the new year is exciting for many reasons. One reason being the new goals we’d like to achieve.  Some people feel ambitious enough to cut out sugar, or go to the gym everyday.  But other people (me) are excited about new jewelry entering our lives either through our own artistic creations or through, my ultimate favorite sport, shopping.

Come take a look at my 2026 jewelry wishlist and maybe you’ll be inspired to make your own. 😉

New year, new jewelry.

Solid Gemstone Rings

Hand wearing a silver ring with a red stone. Stone rings are on my jewelry wishlist.

One style of ring I purchased in 2025 is solid gemstone.  After buying my carnelian ring I was hooked. Rose quartz, lapis and jade stone rings have been added to my wishlist.  These rings add a pop of color and uniqueness to your yellow, silver and rose accessories.

And, if you’re spiritual, the rings can take on meanings that can inspire your day-to-day life.  For example, carnelian represents creativity, and strength which is perfect for my goal to design and craft new jewelry.

What gemstone would you choose? Let me know in the comments below.

Coin Necklaces

In May 2025, I attended Brooklyn Museum’s Solid Gold exhibition.  The main piece that stood out to me was the Egyptian Woman, Coin Necklace painting by John Singer Sargent.  It caught my eye because the woman is covered in black fabric but her face and necklace are bright and pop out of the dark.

The description of the painting stated that jewelry was, and continues to be, a necessity for women.  Not only because it’s beautiful and shows status, but because it was the only wealth women could own without a man's signature.  Jewelry could possibly equate to freedom.  Read this blog from Susan Blake Jewelry for more information about this interesting topic.

I’d love to add a coin necklace to my collection as a symbol of feminism and the power that women hold.

Snake Rings

Since 2025 was the Year of the Snake in the Chinese zodiac, it inspired me to explore snake-themed jewelry.  Snakes are perfect for jewelry because they can wrap/coil around a finger, neck, wrist or even an ear.  To me, snakes symbolize rebirth and cleverness and I need that inspiration of resilience in my life.

These reptiles have been used as symbols for thousands of years, resulting in many different versions of snake rings throughout history. Swipe through the slider to see images of these ancient snake rings.

Puzzle Rings

Interactive/movable jewelry has always been fascinating to me. Unique and moveable jewelry can be conversation starters and bring people together. Puzzle rings would be so much fun to take off, give to someone, and watch them struggle trying to solve it.  😈

The first time I heard of a puzzle ring was at the Renaissance Faire from the local Connecticut designer Puzzle Rings by Pepi.  They even have tutorials on their website if you’re struggling to put your ring back together. Pepi, teach me your ways! I want to make a puzzle ring one day.

Lover’s Eye

This type of jewelry has lived on my wishlist for years but I could never find the right one. Maybe that’s because in 2026 I’m destined to be romantically gifted one of my own. 👀

Ideally, I’d like a lovers eye in ring or necklace form, surrounded by a pearl or diamond halo.

It can be difficult to find this antique piece online since many people have made modern versions.  My best bet might be to go to an antique jewelry show or wait for the Brimfield Antique Flea Market.

So that ends my 2026 jewelry wishlist! If you’re shopping for my birthday, or just because, you know where to look. I made it easy for you. 😉

What are you planning on purchasing or creating this year? What are your goals?  Let me know in the comments below.  Happy 2026!

Puzzle rings are so cool. Would love to see you make one! Sounds like we also have a shared goal of acquiring more jewelry for 2026!😉
